• An IRA distribution that may be excluded from Income if: • Paid directly to a qualified charity by IRA trustee. • Cannot be received by owner then donated. • IRA owner is age 70½ or older. • Reported on form 1099-R. • Taxable amount reported as $0 on Form 1040. • QCD entered on Form 1040 reporting line. • IRAs only, not available for 401(k)s or other retirement plans.
