Why Saving is Cool
01.Saying 'Later' to Say 'Bigger'
Imagine you have five dollars. You could buy a bag of candy right now, and it would be gone in ten minutes. Or, you could save that five dollars, add to it next week, and buy a awesome toy that lasts for years. Saving is choosing to wait a little bit now so you can have something much better later. This is called delayed gratification.
02.Your Safety Shield
Saving also builds a shield for rainy days. If your toy breaks, or if your bicycle gets a flat tire, your savings can fix it. For adults, savings pay for car repairs, doctor visits, or living expenses if they lose their job. It keeps families safe and stress-free!
03.The Save jar
A great way to start is using three jars: Save, Spend, and Give. When you get money, divide it up! This simple habit trains your brain to automatically build your saving shield.
